Accelleron develops, produces and services turbochargers and fuel injection systems for large marine and heavy-duty engines, and adds digital tools for engine, vessel and voyage optimization. The products are used on container ships, tankers, LNG carriers, bulkers, cruise ships, ferries and tugboats, and in power generation, oil and gas, and rail.

Accelleron is based in Baden, Switzerland, and describes itself as a global leader in turbocharging, fuel injection and digital solutions for heavy-duty applications in the marine and energy industries. Its history goes back to 1924, when the first commercial heavy-duty turbocharger was manufactured in Baden.

For about a century the company has supplied engine manufacturers and operators around the world. New technologies are developed in a co-creation process with customers, in particular engine designers, so that each product or service is integrated into the complete engine system.

The stated aim is to help marine and energy operators cut fuel consumption and emissions on the way to net zero. An international network of service stations supports customers around the clock, every day of the year.
