Alamarin-Jet

Alamarin-Jet is a Finnish designer and manufacturer of waterjet propulsion systems based in Alahärmä, Finland. The company was founded in 1976 by Jussi Mäntylä and says it has more than 45 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and supplying waterjets. According to the company, over 90% of its content is made in Finland, with the remainder sourced within the European Union.

The product range is split into two families. The AJ series covers compact commercial and leisure waterjets up to 550 kW, from the AJ 160 used in luxury tenders to the AJ 340; the AJ 230 is described as the company's best-selling model and is widely used in SOLAS fast rescue craft, while the AJ 245 and AJ 285 use the patented Combi-Frame installation concept. The Omega series covers larger jets up to 1,500 kW, currently the Omega 33, Omega 37 and Omega 42.

Alamarin-Jet also supplies control systems for its jets. Target markets include special forces, search and rescue, pilot boats, fishing, offshore and superyacht tenders.
