DEIF

DEIF is a Danish supplier of power control solutions for decentralised power generation on land and at sea, headquartered in Skive, Denmark. The company refers to a history of around 90 years.

In marine and offshore, DEIF supplies controllers, programmable automation controllers, protection relays, power converters, HMI panels, remote monitoring and marine bridge instrumentation. Its customers include commercial vessels, offshore supply vessels, ferries and passenger ships, harbour and inland craft, fishing vessels, offshore platforms and pleasure boats. These products manage the generator sets, switchboards and energy storage that supply power to diesel-electric and hybrid propulsion plants.

The current marine controller platform is the iE Marine series. The iE 150 Marine covers coastal, harbour and inland vessels, the iE 250 Marine covers ocean-going vessels, and the iE 350 Marine is a modular controller for complex and hybrid applications, including dynamic positioning. Functions include asset control and protection, power and energy management, blackout prevention and shore connection management. The iE 250 and iE 350 are certified to IACS UR E27 for cyber security. Older DEIF marine platforms include the Delomatic and PPM-300 lines.
