Flux Marine

Flux Marine is a US developer and manufacturer of electric outboard propulsion, based in Bristol, Rhode Island, where its products are made. Instead of selling a standalone motor, the company supplies a complete system: an electric outboard, marine battery packs and a smart helm with onboard display, mobile app and remote diagnostics.

Its current outboard is the FM115, rated at 115 hp (86 kW) continuous and 175 hp (130 kW) for acceleration, running at 415 V and weighing about 170 kg. Batteries are IP67-rated energy storage packs designed for boat installation.

Flux Marine works with boatbuilders to offer factory-configured electric boats. Packages listed on its site include the Scout 215 XSF and Scout Dorado, the Highfield 660 RIB and the Flagship Discover pontoon, all with the 115 hp system and cruising ranges of around 27–30 miles. The company targets recreational users as well as commercial small craft, and showed its 2026 system at the Miami boat show.
