Forsee Power

Forsee Power is a French battery systems manufacturer headquartered in Ivry-sur-Seine near Paris. With more than 20 years in the battery business, five manufacturing facilities on three continents and operations in seven countries, it designs and produces lithium-ion battery systems mainly for buses, trucks, off-highway vehicles, rail and light electric vehicles.

In the marine sector, Forsee Power obtained DNV certification for its Pulse 2.5 marine battery system in January 2022. The system uses Toshiba LTO cells, liquid cooling and an ultra-thin module design, and is aimed at all-electric and hybrid vessels, ferries and hydrogen-electric boats requiring high charge and discharge rates. The company's high-voltage product lines are ZEN (high-energy) and PULSE (high-power); the ZEN LFP modules offer 36.6 kWh and 55 kWh versions for heavy vehicles.

Forsee Power's marine activity focuses on workboats and ferries, drawing on platforms developed for heavy commercial vehicles.
