Hundested Propeller

Hundested Propeller A/S is a Danish manufacturer of complete controllable-pitch propulsion systems, based in Hundested, Denmark. BSI (Haderslev) has owned the company since 2019, and it is part of the BSI Group of marine brands. Hundested later acquired the UK controls specialist Ocean Marine Systems.

The company designs each system for the individual project. Its CP propellers come in variable-pitch (VP) and multi-pitch (MP) versions and cover roughly 150–4,500 hp and diameters of about 750–4,000 mm, with single-piece propeller shafts up to 12 m long. Hundested also supplies the rest of the system: standard, hybrid and custom marine gearboxes, FR-ELH and FR-HP pitch control units, FT, CPT and SFT thrusters, and low-resistance propulsion systems for yachts.

Its main markets are fishing vessels, workboats, superyachts and sail-training ships.
