About Laborde Products
Laborde Products is a US marine engine distributor and packager based in Covington, Louisiana, with locations in Louisiana, Texas and Kentucky. It is an authorised US distributor of Mitsubishi, Scania, Steyr Motors and Yanmar marine engines, generator sets and parts, and it serves commercial fleets.
For propulsion, Laborde supplies Mitsubishi, Scania and Steyr engines in bands from 120–350 hp up to more than 1,000 hp, including large Mitsubishi units such as the S16R. It also builds marine generator sets from about 40 kW to 125 kW, in radiator-cooled and keel-cooled versions, and auxiliary equipment such as barge power units and portable diesel pumps.
Its customers operate inland towboats, tugs, fishing boats, passenger vessels, dredges, pilot boats, government and defence craft and offshore vessels. Besides equipment, Laborde offers engine selection and repower planning, installation support, parts supply, a dealer network, maintenance scheduling and 24/7 technical support.
