Lewmar

Lewmar is a British maker of marine hardware, established in 1946 and headquartered in Havant, UK. Since 2018 it has been part of LCI Industries, the US-listed parent of Lippert. Its range covers deck hardware, anchoring and windlasses, steering and marine thrusters for leisure boats and yachts.

In propulsion and manoeuvring, Lewmar makes bow and stern thrusters. The TT tunnel thruster range includes the Gen 2 TT electric thruster and small-boat TT models such as the 110TT, plus proportional thrusters with variable speed control. For boats where a tunnel is impractical, Lewmar offers retractable units, including the Retractable Thruster MX Gen 2, vertical retracting thrusters and a proportional retract retrofit kit. For larger yachts it builds hydraulic swing-retracting thrusters, such as the 400 SAH (30–60 hp) and 500 SAH (65–75 hp) aluminium models. Wireless remote kits and control panels complete the system.

Lewmar thrusters are sold to boatbuilders as OEM equipment and through dealers for refits.
