Lilaas

Lilaas is a Norwegian high-tech manufacturer based in Horten. It describes itself as a specialist in joysticks, control levers and precision mechanics. Its components are used in maritime bridge consoles and ship control systems, as well as in defence, medical and space applications.

In marine propulsion, Lilaas is an OEM supplier to propulsion and thruster control system integrators rather than a system supplier itself. Its control levers let operators command main propulsion, bow thrusters and stern thrusters, and its joysticks are used in manoeuvring and DP consoles. Current lever families include the LF90, LF120, LF180 and LE90, and the L01 has a built-in electric shaft system for synchronising levers between stations. Options include potentiometer or electronic outputs, spring return to neutral, built-in switches, motorised axes, custom handles and scale foils. Products such as the LF90 are DNV certified, tested to EN/IEC 60945 and available with IP66 enclosures.

Lilaas serves offshore vessels, ferries and workboats through the control system suppliers that build its levers into their consoles.
