LNT Marine

LNT Marine is a technology and service provider for liquefied gas containment and cryogenic insulation, headquartered in Singapore. Of Norwegian origin, it offers design, engineering, supervision and contracting services to shipyards and owners.

Its main technology is the LNT A-BOX, a cargo containment system based on a self-supporting IMO independent Type A prismatic tank, with liquid-tight insulation as secondary barrier, an accessible inter-barrier space and a tank support system. It is used for LNG and other liquefied gases, including LEG, LPG and ammonia; the LNG carrier Saga Dawn uses the system.

For gas-fuelled ships, LNT offers the LNT Fuel-BOX, a prismatic fuel tank designed for high volume utilisation and low boil-off on larger ocean-going vessels, with approval in principle from ABS and Lloyd's Register for LNG and ammonia. The company also supplies spray-foam insulation for cylindrical and bi-lobe Type C fuel tanks, hold-space insulation and ammonia tank solutions.
