OXE Marine

OXE Marine is a listed Swedish company based in Ängelholm that develops and markets high-power diesel outboard engines. It describes itself as the pioneer of high-powered diesel outboards and targets commercial operators, government agencies, military users and workboats that need diesel for fuel logistics, range and safety.

The current range comprises the OXE200, OXE225, OXE250 and flagship OXE300, plus the OXE300 Jet-Tech with jet propulsion. The engines use turbocharged in-line six-cylinder diesel power heads and a patented belt-driven transmission for control under heavy loads, and produce 180 A of electrical output, which the company says removes the need for a separate generator. They are compatible with diesel, B7, EN 590, HVO100 and JP-5, meeting NATO single-fuel requirements, and OXE claims 30-40% better fuel economy than competitors.

OXE also offers OXE Connect telematics for live engine data, diagnostics and vessel location, along with controls, displays, rigging kits, steering, propellers and service products.
