Pleasurecraft Engine Group (PCM / Crusader)

Pleasurecraft Engine Group designs and builds gasoline inboard engines for recreational boats under the PCM and Crusader brands. PCM was founded in 1975 in Canal Winchester, Ohio. In 1984 it moved to a 140,000 sq ft plant on 25 acres in Little Mountain, South Carolina, which houses its headquarters, R&D, manufacturing and parts distribution.

Correct Craft, owner of Nautique, Centurion, Supreme and other boat brands, acquired PCM together with the Crusader and Levitator engine brands in 2014. PCM is the main engine supplier to Nautique, Centurion, Supreme and other watersports boatbuilders.

PCM specialises in tow-sports engines. The company says it pioneered direct injection in watersports engines in 2016, and that it was the first in the industry to make 100% closed cooling standard across its whole portfolio. The current ZZ family of 325 and 376 cu in direct-injection V8s is offered in boat-brand-specific lineups for model years 2025 and 2026. Crusader engines serve cruisers and sport boats with inboard and sterndrive installations.
