Sharrow Marine

Sharrow Marine is a US propeller company founded by Greg Sharrow, CEO, and based in Harper Woods, in the Detroit area of Michigan. It developed the toroidal or looped-blade propeller, in which each blade loops back to the hub instead of ending in a free tip. The company says the design removes tip vortices and tip cavitation, reduces vibration and noise, and improves handling. It claims 10–30% more range from the same fuel.

Sharrow began deliveries around 2020 with the MX propeller for outboards and sterndrives. The range now covers the MX with its MX-V, MX-S and MX-A variants, plus the X10, XO, VX-Pro, CX and AX models. For inboard boats it offers the VEEM series in 20–25 inch and 26–55 inch sizes, developed with propeller maker VEEM. Most products are sold as bolt-on replacements for existing propellers.

According to the input data, Sharrow is expanding from recreational boats into larger and commercial applications, including workboats.
