Tides Marine

Tides Marine Inc. is a US marine equipment supplier founded in 1991 and headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida. It makes propeller shaft seals, rudder bearing and sealing systems, and sail track components for recreational and commercial vessels.

In propulsion, its main products are the SureSeal and seriesOne shaft seals. These are drip-free, self-aligning lip-type seals supplied as original equipment to many boat builders and used on yachts and workboats. They fit shafts from 1 to 8 inches (25 to 160 mm), and the range includes seal kits, housings, StrongSeal lip seals, spare seal carrier kits, injection fittings and water pick-up kits.

Tides Marine's rudder bearings, including the URB-STD and URB-LP models, are self-aligning and accept up to 10 degrees of misalignment. They carry ABS and Lloyd's approval. For sailboats, the company makes SailTrack systems with more than 150 mast groove shapes. Tides Marine cites ABS, Lloyd's, ISO and NMMA approvals.
