Vision Marine Technologies

Vision Marine Technologies is a Canadian developer of high-voltage electric propulsion for recreational boats, headquartered in Boisbriand, Quebec, and listed on Nasdaq (VMAR). Its main product is the E-Motion 180E, a fully integrated 180 hp electric outboard powertrain combining motor, inverter, glycol-cooled battery system and controls, designed for marine use rather than converted from automotive parts.

The company supplies the powertrain to boat builders and offers electric boats that use it, including the SPECTR 26, Sterk 31e (twin E-Motion 180E), V30, V24 and V17 pontoons, the Aquasport 180E, an inboard 180E model and smaller cruisers such as the Fantail 217 and Volt 180. In 2025 Vision Marine acquired the Florida dealer group Nautical Ventures, which now serves as its retail, service and sea-trial network.

In Europe it is running an E-Motion integration programme with STERK Yachts. The company has carried out several reverse stock splits, most recently in August 2026.
