Zeppelin Power (Netherlands & Norway)

Pon Power was the Caterpillar marine and industrial engine dealer of Dutch Pon Holdings for the Netherlands and Norway, headquartered in Papendrecht. In December 2024 the Zeppelin Group agreed to take over Pon's Caterpillar sales and service activities in Norway and the Netherlands. After antitrust approval on 3 June 2025, Zeppelin acquired PEPP Group BV, which covered 22 companies in five countries, about 2,000 employees and around EUR 1.1 billion in revenue. The Dutch power business now trades as Zeppelin Power.

In marine, the company packages and supports Caterpillar propulsion and auxiliary engines from about 70 kW to 6,500 kW. Propulsion models include the C7.1, C9.3, C12, C18 and C32 and their high-performance versions. Auxiliary engines range from the C4.4 to the C18. Engines are offered to EU Stage V, IMO II/III and EPA Tier 3/4 emission levels for shipping, inland navigation, dredging, fishing, tugs and passenger vessels. The company also sells marine generators, maritime battery systems and tailored hybrid solutions, and it provides inspections, maintenance agreements, oil analysis and repairs.

According to the input data, the dealership has also handled Cat and MaK medium-speed engines for offshore, ferry and dredging customers.
