Zeppelin Power Systems

Zeppelin Power Systems is part of the German Zeppelin Group and has been a Caterpillar partner for more than 70 years. With about 1,000 employees, nine locations in Germany and activities in 32 countries, it sells, integrates and services drive systems and energy solutions throughout their life cycle. Its headquarters is in Hamburg.

In marine, Zeppelin supplies propulsion and auxiliary engines based on Caterpillar (Cat) and MaK engines, in diesel and dual-fuel versions. Customers include inland vessels, ferries, megayachts, merchant ships, cruise ships and government vessels. Its commercial main propulsion packages range from about 209 to 5,420 bkW, and high-performance propulsion engines for fast workboats and yachts range from about 254 to 3,000 bkW. It also supplies auxiliary drives and generating sets.

Zeppelin provides marine services including commissioning, maintenance, repair, overhauls and spare parts. It acts as the local service partner for Cat and MaK installations in its territories.
