The Gibraltar Ministry of Tourism, Public Transport and the Port issued a press release stating that an auxiliary steam boiler on a ship anchored off the South Mole exploded. While clouds of black smoke were seen coming from the funnel, there was no fire, no pollution, and no casualties.
