DMD also builds WinGD low-speed engines under licence. In March 2024 it delivered the world's first 6X62-S2.0 main engine with high-pressure SCR, a shorter-stroke, more compact design meeting IMO Tier III that supports remote monitoring and is aimed at a wide range of ship types, including large container ships.
