Daihatsu Infinearth

Daihatsu Infinearth is a Japanese maker of medium-speed diesel and dual-fuel engines. It was known as Daihatsu Diesel until it was renamed in 2025, and it is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (6023). It is one of the leading suppliers of marine auxiliary generating sets for merchant ships and also builds propulsion engines for coastal and domestic vessels.

The marine range includes the DE series of auxiliary gensets (6DE-18, 6DE-23, 6DEM-23, 8DEL-23 and the larger DE-28), and DK/DKM-e propulsion engines such as the 6DKM-26e, 6DKM-36e and 8DKM-36e. There are also dual-fuel versions such as the 6DE-28DF for LNG-fuelled ships. The company also offers an in-house SCR system with an integrated bypass structure for IMO Tier III compliance.
