DE series
Compact medium-speed diesel engines for marine auxiliary generating sets, IMO Tier II compliant.
The DE series is Daihatsu Infinearth's main line of marine auxiliary genset engines. It covers the 6DE-18, 6DE-23 and 6DEM-23, the 8DEL-23 and the larger DE-28. The company's technical catalogue describes the DE-18/23 as IMO Tier II compliant. The engines are fitted as gensets on a wide range of merchant ships, and an SCR option with an integrated bypass is available for Tier III.
