France Hélices

France Hélices is a French marine propulsion manufacturer based in Cannes, founded in 1977 by Paul Bezzi. It is ISO 9001:2015 certified by Bureau Veritas for the design, manufacture, marketing and repair of marine propulsion systems.

The company's range covers fixed-pitch propellers (standard, skew-back, Kaplan and surface-piercing), controllable-pitch propellers including maintenance and repair of Renou Dardel CPPs, sailing-yacht propellers, and complete shaft line assemblies with shafts, brackets, rudders, coupling flanges and nozzles. It also supplies spare parts.

Its best-known product is the Surface Drive System (SDS), a trimmable and steerable surface drive with surface-piercing propellers, sold under its own brand. SDS drives are designed for planing hulls of 10 to 40 m operating at 30 to 70 knots, including yachts, interceptors, coast guard, ambulance, fast crew boats (FCB) and fast patrol boats (FPB). The SDS range runs from SDS 1 to SDS 6, and France Hélices also designs custom surface-piercing propellers for these drives.
