AMMDrive ammonia-to-power system
Modular system that cracks ammonia to hydrogen and converts it to electricity via fuel cell (AD1000-FC) or hydrogen engine genset (AD1000-E).
AMMDrive is Amogy's modular ammonia-to-power platform. Each system combines a reactor with the company's proprietary cracking catalyst, a hydrogen purification module and a hydrogen-to-power unit. Two arrangements are offered: AD1000-FC with fuel cells and AD1000-E with a hydrogen engine genset. For shipping, Amogy positions the system for hybrid and electric propulsion and auxiliary power; the technology was demonstrated on the tug NH3 Kraken.
