Marine LFP battery systems
LFP battery systems, EMS and swappable containerised packs for inland, coastal and sea-going electric vessels in China.
CATL's marine battery systems are supplied through its subsidiary CAEV for all-electric and hybrid vessels, including passenger ships, tugs and inland cargo ships. The range includes shipboard battery systems with energy management, and containerised mobile power units used in a battery-swapping model. They are supported by high-voltage, high-power charging and a cloud operations platform. CATL says the products hold certificates from the five major classification societies, and that nearly 900 electric ships had been delivered by December 2025.
