CENTAX is CENTA's range of highly flexible couplings for medium and large marine propulsion drives, including the CENTAX-SEC series (B, G, L and NL variants) and TT and V types. They are installed between main engines and gearboxes or in propeller and thruster drives to tune torsional vibration behaviour and isolate structure-borne noise. The marine brochure gives a torque range of about 2.25 to 650 kNm.
