Liquid hydrogen marine fuel systems
Fixed, exchangeable (40/50 ft ISO) and hybrid LNG/LH2 fuel tank systems for hydrogen-fuelled ships; tanks up to 1,700 m3.
Chart offers three routes to liquid hydrogen fuelling for ships: shop-built fixed tank systems with vacuum-insulated piping for deck or below-deck installation; exchangeable containerised tanks in 40 ft or 50 ft ISO frames that can be swapped full-for-empty without bunkering infrastructure; and hybrid tank systems that can hold LNG or LH2. Chart says it can build tanks of up to 1,700 m3 and has taken part in the HyZET and Energy Observer consortia.
