EcoChill is a closed-loop refrigeration system that subcools LNG using hermetically sealed turbomachinery. Lowering the temperature of the liquid reduces boil-off gas generation in LNG cargo and fuel tanks and helps manage tank pressure without burning or venting gas. It is part of Cryostar's marine cargo handling machinery range for LNG carriers.
