The QSL9 and QSC8.3 are Cummins' mid-range in-line six-cylinder marine diesels. The 8.9-litre QSL9 (114 × 145 mm bore × stroke, high-pressure common rail) is rated at 209–302 kW (281–405 hp) at 1,800–2,100 rpm. The QSC8.3 covers 365–447 kW (490–600 hp). Both are used in commercial workboats, patrol boats and recreational yachts.
