Bowman Charge Air Coolers
Eight standard charge air coolers for 50–850 kW engines; naval-brass end covers, CuNi or titanium tube stacks, removable tube stack.
Bowman's charge air coolers (intercoolers) cool turbocharged intake air on marine engines. Eight standard models run from the EC120 (50 kW engine, 5.3 kW heat rejection) to the RK250 (850 kW engine, 146.6 kW). Marine versions have naval-brass end covers and copper-nickel or titanium tube stacks for seawater service. The fully floating tube stack slides out of the body for cleaning.
