SEM300 autopilot (heading control)
Fifth-generation EMRI heading control with adaptive modes and full hot-standby redundancy; replaces the SEM200.
The SEM300 is EMRI's fifth-generation autopilot for large vessels, replacing the SEM200 (and the Furuno FAP-2000, succeeded by the FAP-3000). The company says it can hold heading to a few tenths of a degree for precise track control in confined coastal waters, uses adaptive mode selection to reduce steering-related fuel use, and offers full hot-standby redundancy. It can be installed new, as a retrofit of other brands, or as a plug-and-play replacement for legacy EMRI/Furuno units.
