Mark III LNG fuel tanks
Membrane LNG fuel tanks for container ships, cruise ships, tankers and bulkers, from about 1,000 m3 to nearly 20,000 m3; ammonia compatibility assessed with BV.
GTT applies its Mark III membrane technology to LNG fuel tanks integrated into the hull. The system uses a corrugated 1.2 mm 304L stainless steel primary membrane and a composite secondary barrier on polyurethane foam insulation. GTT highlights flexible tank geometry that saves cargo space, low boil-off, rapid cooldown and pressure holding of more than 30 days at minimum consumption. Fuel tank sizes range from about 1,000 m3 for passenger ships to nearly 20,000 m3 for large container ships.
