NO96 / Mark III Flex cargo containment
Licensed membrane cargo containment systems for LNG carriers, with guaranteed boil-off down to 0.07%/day (Mark III Flex+).
GTT's two main membrane families are licensed to shipyards for LNG carrier cargo tanks. Mark III uses a corrugated stainless steel membrane on foam panels; Mark III Flex (2011, 400 mm insulation) achieves 0.10-0.085%/day boil-off and Mark III Flex+ (2017) 0.07%/day. NO96 uses flat Invar membranes in insulated boxes; variants run from NO96 GW (0.125%/day) and L03/L03+ to NO96 Super+, which replaces plywood boxes with reinforced polyurethane foam panels for 0.085%/day on a 174,000 m3 carrier.
