FGSS and multi-purpose fuel tank
In-house FGSS and multi-fuel tank design allowing LNG carriers to switch from LNG to ammonia; ABS AiP in 2026.
Hanwha Ocean's integrated fuel gas supply system and multi-purpose fuel tank are designed so that an LNG carrier can move from LNG to ammonia fuel without replacing tanks or supply equipment. The system supplies either fuel to a gas turbine on an electrically propelled vessel. ABS awarded approval in principle in September 2026.
