Isotta Fraschini's propulsion line comprises the V1312, V1712 and VL1716 families in MLH, MLL and MSD duty ratings. Listed outputs range from 950 kW at 2,500 rpm for the V1312C2 MSD, through 1,350–1,600 kW for the V1712C2 and 1,800–2,000 kW for the VL1716C2 MLH/MLL, to 2,200 kW at 1,930 rpm for the VL1716C2 MSD. The engines are used in naval and fast-craft propulsion.
