PowerTech marine engines
PowerTech 4.5L, 6.8L, 9.0L and 13.5L marine diesels: propulsion 60-559 kW (80-750 hp), gensets 40-416 kW, EPA Tier 3 options.
John Deere's PowerTech marine engines cover four displacements. Propulsion ratings are 60-235 kW for the 4.5L, 115-298 kW for the 6.8L, 213-410 kW for the 9.0L and 272-559 kW (365-750 hp) for the 13.5L. Generator versions deliver 40-416 kW prime power at 1,500/1,800 rpm, and the 9.0L and 13.5L also have variable-speed auxiliary ratings. Engines are offered non-certified, IMO-exempt or EPA Tier 2/Tier 3, with selected EU Stage V and China Stage II versions.
