Kanzaki marine gears
Hydraulic multi-plate (KMH) and cone-clutch (KM) reverse-reduction marine gears for fishing, work and pleasure boats.
Kanzaki's marine gears transmit engine power to the propeller and provide ahead, astern and neutral. The KMH series (KMH40A to KMH61V) uses wet multi-plate hydraulic clutches in angle-drive (A) and V-drive (V) layouts. The KM series (KM2P-1, KM35A-2, KM35P, KM4A-2) uses cone clutches for smaller engines. The KMH61A accepts 1,070 Nm at 5,500 rpm, with ratios of 1.55–2.43:1 and a 58 kg dry weight.
