The M-800 series is Nabtesco's bridge manoeuvring system for propulsion engines on merchant ships. It sends speed orders to the main engine, monitors engine status and integrates controllable-pitch propeller control. The M-800-V brought integrated bridge manoeuvring, condition monitoring and CPP control; the M-800-VII (2022) adds network functions and LCD screens to support digitalisation and future autonomous navigation, and obtained ABS cyber-safety certification in January 2023. Nabtesco estimates its global share in engine remote control at about 40%.
