OceanWings' wingsail is an automated rigid composite wing with a surface of about 363 m² (33 m by 11 m). It is offered as OW RF (fixed), OW RT (tiltable), OW RE (elevator) and OW LF (lowerable). The OW RT weighs 45 t, stands 38 m above deck, draws under 1.5 kW on average and delivers up to 2,400 kW of equivalent engine power, with thrust from a 5° apparent wind angle. Average savings are quoted at 1.3 t of fuel per day per wing.
