RAD 40
40 kW continuous, 400 V DC ducted drive-leg outboard with ±90° steering, 0–80° tilt and 98–104 kg weight.
The RAD 40 is RAD Propulsion's 40 kW electric outboard. It uses a ducted propeller on a drive leg that steers through ±90 degrees, which makes low-speed manoeuvring easier, and it tilts from 0 to 80 degrees. It runs at 400 V DC, reaches a maximum propeller speed of 2,250 rpm and weighs 98 kg (short shaft) or 104 kg (long shaft), excluding battery and power distribution.
