Scania's 13-litre marine engine is a 12.7-litre in-line six rated 257-772 kW (350-1,050 hp) for propulsion. The updated DI13 offers more torque and power over a wider range, 100% HVO compatibility and up to 50% longer base-engine life according to Scania. It weighs about 1,295 kg and is used in workboats, fishing vessels, pilot and patrol boats and pleasure craft, as well as for auxiliary duty.
