Everllence / SEMT Pielstick PA6, PC2 (licensed)
Licence-built Pielstick PA6 and PC2 medium-speed diesels for Chinese naval propulsion, including Type 054A frigates.
SXD builds SEMT Pielstick-designed medium-speed diesels (a brand now within Everllence) under licence. The 16-cylinder PA6 STC is used for diesel propulsion of Chinese naval ships, including the Type 054A frigates, and PC2-series engines are also produced. The engines run on marine gas oil or heavy fuel.
