PwrSwäp

PwrSwäp is Shift's battery-as-a-service offer. Vessels carry ePod battery cartridges that are exchanged for charged units at automated swap stations within minutes. Shift manages the energy through cloud-based service centres and reports real-time emissions and power data. Because the storage is sized per trip, not for the vessel's lifetime, the operator avoids the up-front capital cost of a large fixed battery.
