Side-Power eVision tunnel thrusters
Proportional PM-motor tunnel thrusters from 100 to 420 kg thrust on 24 V or 48 V, for boats from about 39 ft upwards; classic SE on/off range also offered.
eVision is Sleipner's current electric tunnel thruster family. It uses a six-phase permanent-magnet synchronous motor designed for thruster duty, with proportional speed control and a hold function. Models run from the E100 (100 kg thrust, 5.6 kW, 185 mm tunnel) to the E420 (420 kg) on 24 V or 48 V DC. Sleipner cites up to 50% weight reduction and long run times with active air cooling. Classic on/off DC and AC thrusters remain available.
