High-voltage electric drive system: 25 and 50 kW outboards and 25-100 kW inboards for commercial boats, ferries and yachts.
Deep Blue is Torqeedo's high-voltage electric drive system for commercial users and larger boats, which the company calls the first series-production high-voltage system of its kind. It includes the remote-controlled Deep Blue 25 R (25 kW, about 34 hp) and 50 R (50 kW, about 68 hp) outboards and Deep Blue inboards from 25 to 100 kW, supplied with high-voltage batteries and optional hybrid range extenders for ferries, workboats and yachts.
