SCiB cells & modules
Lithium-titanate cells and ClassNK-approved 27.6 V modules with long life and fast charging, used in electric ferries.
SCiB cells use a lithium titanium oxide anode for safety, long life and rapid charging. They are offered as high-power (2.9, 10 Ah), high-energy (20, 23, 26 Ah) and combination (20Ah-HP) types. Marine modules include the Type3-23 (45 Ah) and Type3-20/20HP (40 Ah), all at 27.6 V nominal. SCiB modules were the first in Japan to receive ClassNK approval for ships and are used by Damen in electric ferries.
