WEKA Box Cooler – 90/10 Copper-Nickel
Uncoated 90/10 CuNi U-tube box cooler with naval brass tubesheet; no ICAF needed; WEKA Guard/Protector stray-current protection.
WEKA's main box cooler uses uncoated 90/10 copper-nickel tubes in a naval-brass tubesheet, with a colour-coated carbon-steel bonnet, Teflon support plates and galvanised bolts. It is fully isolated from the hull, so the alloy keeps its natural anti-fouling behaviour and no ICAF system is needed. WEKA Guard and WEKA Protector guard against stray-current corrosion. Catalogue data cover engines up to 10,000 kW, and the unit also works in ice and silt.
