UGT series marine gas turbines
Naval gas turbines of about 3–25 MW and matching reduction gears for frigates, destroyers and hovercraft; UGT16000R rated 16.55 MW.
Zorya-Mashproekt's UGT series comes from Soviet-era naval gas turbine designs and spans about 3 MW to 25 MW. The turbines are supplied with reduction gears as complete propulsion units for frigates, destroyers and hovercraft. The UGT16000R (DT59) is a three-shaft reversible turbine with a two-spool gas generator and free power turbine. It is rated at 16,550 kW with about 30% efficiency and a 3,600 rpm output speed.
