Bergen B36:45 lean-burn gas engines
Spark-ignited lean-burn natural gas engines of 3.3-9.6 MW for marine propulsion and gensets; B35:40V offered for land power.
The B36:45 is Bergen's lean-burn natural gas engine, offered as the inline B36:45L (6, 8 or 9 cylinders, 3.3-5.4 MW) and the B36:45V (6.7-9.6 MW) for marine use. It runs at 750 rpm (720 rpm for 60 Hz gensets) with a mean effective pressure of 21 bar and mean piston speed of 11.2 m/s. Applications include cruise ships, ferries, offshore, naval and commercial vessels. For land-based power generation Bergen also offers the B35:40V gas engine.
