FPT Cursor marine engines
8.7- to 15.9-litre heavy-duty marine diesels from about 125 kW up to 735 kW at 2,300 rpm (Cursor 16) for commercial vessels and yachts.
The Cursor family is FPT's heavy-duty marine engine line, spanning 8.7 to 15.9 litres and roughly 125-735 kW. The Cursor 16 tops the range with 735 kW at 2,300 rpm. Engines are offered in light-, medium- and heavy-duty ratings for fast craft, workboats, ferries and fishing vessels, with electronic remote control and certification to IMO MARPOL, EPA, EU RCD and RINA rules. FPT states that the engines can run on HVO, and quotes service intervals up to 600 hours. Cursor engines are also used in pleasure boats and marine gensets.
