FPT NEF marine engines
4- to 6.7-litre common-rail marine diesels: about 63-390 kW in commercial ratings and up to 419 kW for pleasure craft; HVO-compatible.
The NEF family is FPT's mid-range marine engine line, with displacements from 4 to 6.7 litres. Commercial versions cover about 63-390 kW for workboats, fishing vessels and patrol craft, while pleasure ratings of the N67 reach 419 kW for cruisers and yachts up to about 18 m. The engines use common-rail injection with four valves per cylinder, are available turbocharged or naturally aspirated, and FPT quotes service intervals of up to 600 hours. NEF engines are also offered as marine generator drives.
